Teal Hunting and Dove Hunting

Panhandle's Best, Inc. provides some of the best teal hunting and dove hunting to be found anywhere in the United States. Our Texas Panhandle early season teal hunts offer fast paced action for bluewing and greenwing teal. Limits typically consist of primarily bluewing teal at the beginning of the season and more of a mixed bag of both bluewing and greenwing teal near the end of the season. The majority of our teal hunting takes place on shallow water playa lakes with varying cover from thick cattail reeds and swamp timothy to barren banks. Our hunters hunt from layout boats and coffin type blinds as well as swamp stools. Most teal hunts are over quite quickly and the action is as fast as you can load your gun until hunters reach the state specified limits. Our dove hunting is incredibly action packed with most hunters achieve limits, or just plain run out of shells. Limits consist primarily of mourning doves with an occasional whitewing or collared dove thrown in for a little variety. Our dove hunts take place over feed fields and small stock tank waterholes. We offer both morning and afternoon dove hunts. However, our most popular hunt and biggest bang for the buck this time of year is our teal and dove hunt combo where hunters get to hunt teal in the morning and hunt doves all afternoon. This hunt is a ton of fun and typically keeps hunters in the action all day long.
Early Teal Season Sept 11, 2010 to Sept 26, 2010 Bag Limit 4 Teal Rates: Early Season Teal and Dove Combo Hunt 3 Person Minimum, 8 Person Maximum $250.00 per person, per day with 3 person minimum $225.00 per person, per day with 5 or more hunters Half Day Morning Teal or Dove or Afternoon Dove Hunt 3 person minimum, 8 person maximum $150 per person, per day Dove Season Sept 1, 2010 to Oct 24, 2010 - and - Dec 25, 2010 to Jan 8, 2011 Bag Limit 15 Doves Prices above are per person, per day. All hunts include breakfast, lunch, beverages, and bird cleaning. Non-shooters are welcome at one-half the daily rate. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required in order to confirm dates. All deposits made by hunters not in attendance are non-transferable to other members within the group and shall be forfeited to Panhandle's Best, Inc. Balance of payment is due on the day of the hunt. Hunts can be video taped at the request of the hunters for a fee of $75.00.
